FAQs

You are required to provide some personal information such as your profile photo, NID number, permanent address, employment or business income, valid bank or payment channel account for electronic transfers and consent for obtaining your personal credit report from Credit Bureau of Cambodia.  We may request additional documents to verify your personal information and income

It is a statutory requirement for licensed microfinance institutions to obtain your personal credit record from Credit Bureau of Cambodia (CBC) to assess your credit worthiness.

Your eligibility for SAMBAT Loan depends on your personal credit record from Credit Bureau of Cambodia (CBC), monthly income, employment status and other factors.  We advise you to contact our Customer Service Centre at 023 | 093 99 77 22 for more information on the available loan amounts, tenor, and rates before completing your application.

To apply for SAMBAT Loan, you’ll need to have a valid electronic account with our preferred Payment Channels such as SPEEDPAY or WING.  Unfortunately, we currently do not accept debit or credit cards and savings accounts with banks.

For security purposes, we only disburse loan into the electronic account of the person named as the primary borrower in the SAMBAT Loan Contract.  The person’s full names (in Khmer and Latin) must match completely with the electronic account name registered with the Payment Channels.  Please contract our Customer Service Centre at 023 | 093 99 77 22 for more information.

 Once you have completed the online registration process, you can apply for SAMBAT Loan immediately.
