SAMBAT Finance CSR Program: Donation to Cambodian Child Aid Program

Phnom Penh, Thursday, September 23, 2021: Representatives of the management and staff of SAMBAT Finance brought stationery, food and cash donation of 5million Riel to the Orphan Mek Chher Center located in Lech Wat Village, Sangkat Kambol, Khan Dangkor, Phnom Penh.

During the CSR visit, SAMBAT Finance representative met and spoke with the Center team currently taking care of more than 70 orphan. “At the Center, there is also a farm to raise animal and grow vegetables”, said the deputy director of the center: “We must not leave the land empty” as we can grow vegetables and raise animals. It is also important for the young children at the center to learn and understand about vegetables farming and raising animals as part of their outdoor curriculum activities when they are not attending classroom lesson.

Mr. Soeung Simon, General Manager of SAMBAT Finance, gave a good piece of advice to the young children that All of you must continue to study hard and pay attention, because only knowledge can change your future.

Children are the successors of bamboo “កុមារ​គឺ​ជា​ទំពាំង​ស្នង​ឬស្សី”, so you must study hard so that you can be the bridge to lead us to a better future. With this small contribution from SAMBAT Finance, we sincerely hope that more Cambodians can join us to support and care for these children who are our future generation.
