An Unforgettable Experience – A CSR Initiative by SAMBAT Finance

Phnom Penh, 12^th June 2022 - SAMBAT Finance PLC, organised a “Movie Day” outing for 65 children and their caregivers from the Branch Center (មណ្ឌលមែកឈើ) Orphanage, under the management of UNACAS, located in Phum Lech Wat, Kombol, Kombol, Phnom Penh.  A big thank you to the dedicated SAMBAT Finance team, caregivers and the Legend Cinema staffers for such a memorable and life changing moment for the children!

The eventful day for the children, as young as 4 years old, began with a short bus journey from the Branch Center (មណ្ឌលមែកឈើ) Orphanage to the Chip Mong Sen Sok Mall. The outing ended with so much joy and happiness and most of all, an unforgettable experience for the children. For all of us at SAMBAT Finance, our unforgettable moment is the priceless smile on the children’s faces as they depart for home.

“There is no greater joy in this world than to put a big smile on an innocent child’s face. The excitement and fear expressed by the children as they step on the escalator for the 1^st time in their lives just moved me beyond words. The life experience we shared with the children today is just the beginning as we look forward to organizing more outings and activities for children from other orphanages.” said Harvey Poh, Managing Director of SAMBAT Finance.
