Our Children, Our Future – A CSR Initiative by SAMBAT Finance

Phnom Penh, 19^th December 2022 - SAMBAT Finance PLC is proud to announce another successful CSR event with the distribution of school uniforms,  stationery
packs and used clothes to the children cared by Les Restaurants Des Enfants (LRDE 2), a humanitarian organization located at Street 113, Boeng Keng Kong III
Commune, Chamkarmon District, Phnom Penh.  Since 2010, LRDE has offered support and free meals to almost 1 million disadvantaged children who mostly come
from impoverished families living around the waste landfills and scavenging wastes from the landfills for a living.

Christmas is around the corner.  As we celebrate the Christmas spirit, it is also a time of giving and sharing with those around us and for us at SAMBAT Finance, it is
sharing of our blessings with the less fortunate and disadvantaged children in Cambodia.

“It was a very heart-wrenching moment for us to witness the weak health and malnourished condition of these children caused by poor diet and lack of proper healthcare.
As we begin the New Year,  let us remind ourselves that children born  into poverty also deserve to have the same access to basic necessities, education and healthcare,
just like each and every one of us,” said Mr. Harvey Poh, Managing Director of SAMBAT Finance.

Mr. Sem Sineth, Secretary General of LRDE 2, enlightened the SAMBAT CSR team on  LDRE’s mission and its achievements, and the generous contributions received
from various organizations over the years to support its food bank activities for disadvantaged children.

“Our contribution today marks another step forward for us.  We certainly look forward to organizing more CSR activities in the New Year and may the New Year bring
hope and happiness for these disadvantaged children,” said Harvey.
