Preah Vihear, 08/10/2022 – SAMBAT CSR Team wishes to express our utmost gratitude to Mr. Te Tek Son, owner of a rubber plantation, located in Chi Oak Village,
Romany Commune, Rovieng District, Preah Vihear Province for accepting our offer to organise a CSR event at the plantation.

Our preparation for this momentous CSR event began many months earlier with the collection of used clothes and pre-loved accessories from SAMBAT family, friends
and business associates. As the eventful day approaches, SAMBAT family was occupied with the last minute sorting and packing of all the used clothes and accessories
into bags for easy distribution to the 28 plantation workers and their families. With the upcoming new school semester, SAMBAT family has also organized stationery
packs for the children as we believe that education is the foundation of a society.

“We are indeed overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness from all walks of life towards cultivating a charitable and giving society in Cambodia. On behalf of
SAMBAT CSR team, I wish to say a big thank you to our host, Mr. Te Tek Son, SAMBAT family and all our donors for their kind contribution to make this CSR event
a success.” said Harvey Poh, Managing Director of SAMBAT Finance.

Before we set off on our 3-hour drive from our beloved bustling Phnom Penh city to the plantation, we picked up our pre-ordered freshly baked Nom Paing Bak Yong
(stuffed meat baguettes) from a famous bakery to share with everyone at the plantation. As we navigated the narrow dirt road in the plantation en-route to the workers’
quarters, we were captivated by the tranquillity and peacefulness of the atmosphere surrounded by rubber trees, and it was truly a beautiful sight to behold.

“Even though our contribution today may not be significant but we do hope that it can set the right mind-set for everyone in Cambodia to nurture the charitable spirit as
we believe that everyone deserves to have the basic necessities in life. The simplicity of life witnessed by city-folks like us is a life-awakening moment to continue
pursuing our cause to make this world a much better place for everyone.” Harvey added.

At SAMBAT Finance, we are committed to our CSR mission to nurturing the charitable spirit amongst every Khmer to contribute to the underprivileged and
marginalised communities at large. We believe that every individual, regardless of background and circumstances, deserves access to the basic necessities in life in this
ever changing world.
